About Priority Plumbing
We’re a family-owned plumbing company with a growing team of five, including journeymen and apprentices working side by side out of Pocahontas, Illinois. Priority Plumbing serves residential and commercial customers across five counties in Southern Illinois, handling everything from everyday plumbing repairs to larger installations and system upgrades.

Kyle Gruner’s Story
Kyle’s path in plumbing started early. During his junior year of high school, he began working for a local plumber in Highland, Illinois through a co-op program, starting out as the shop kid, learning the trade from the ground up. That experience sparked something that never faded: the drive to one day run his own operation.
He went on to spend 12 years in the field, sharpening his skills, earning his license, and building a reputation for honest, quality work. Over time, it became clear that the next chapter meant stepping out on his own. When the time was right, Kyle made the decision to start Priority Plumbing Services.
What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of five, backed by the same values Kyle built his career on: treat every job like it’s your own home, do right by people, and never cut corners.

Kyle serves on the Greenville and Highland Chambers of Commerce, sponsors the Bond County K9 program, and advertises with local station 101.7 WGEL. For him, being part of the community isn’t a marketing line, it’s simply how he was raised and how he believes a local business should operate.
