How We Got Started
Every business has a story. This one started early.
Kyle Gruner, a plumber, began working in the trade during his junior year of high school through a co-op program. He started as a shop kid at a small plumbing company in Highland and stayed with it.
Over time, he worked his way up, joined the union, and spent more than a decade learning the trade. The goal was simple: one day, run a business of his own.
That plan didn’t unfold the way he expected.
After years of working toward taking over the company he was with, it became clear it wasn’t going to happen. He gave notice, thinking he had time to transition. Instead, he was told to clear out his van.
The very next day, he was out on his first call under his own name.

What started as one person doing the work has grown into a 5-member plumbing team that Illinois homeowners and businesses now rely on.

Meet the Team
Kyle Gruner owns and runs Priority Plumbing Services out of Pocahontas, IL. He’s a licensed plumber in Illinois with more than 12 years of trade experience before going out on his own. He leads a team of journeymen and apprentices who share the same approach to the work: show up, do it right, treat the customer’s home with respect.
